Muddy River Design, LLC is a national award winning drafting & home design company located in Bend, Oregon. I’ve been in the building industry for over 10 years. Over time, I’ve developed an extensive client list that includes some of the biggest builders in Oregon & Washington.

Northwest Crossing Specialist

My experience in production housing design and the building of my own personal investment properties has given me the knowledge to properly design buildings that are affordable & efficient to build. I’m a specialist in Northwest Crossing, Bend and Central Oregon. I hold an AAS in Drafting & Communications from Central Oregon Community College, Graduate of the Oregon Sustainable Building Advisory Program in 2007 and graduate of the 6 month Oregon Sustainable Homes Professional Certification through Earth Advantage.

In addition to providing house designs and drafting services, I provide an extensive list of services pertaining to marketing materials for your next investment. These services include, but not limited to: presentation floor plans, full color 3D renderings, flyers, animations, illustrations and websites!

My business model

  • Affordable. My rates are well below the competition! For rates starting at $1.75/sf you get innovative, functional and well detailed custom and speculative home plans. Most plans include structural engineering fees.
  • Efficient. Owner Operated! I deal with everything from client meetings to drafting & design to marketing materials. I use the latest technology to create clean, accurate and well detailed construction plans. I coordinate plans with all subs to give you a complete package for permit submittal and bidding.
  • Functional. My designs are clean and simple. Plans are complete and detailed for accurate bidding. I focus on the necessities of living and stray from the gingerbread. Each home is designed to accomodate daylighting, modular construction, energy efficiency, indoor air quality and durability.
  • Innovative. In addition to providing home design services, I provided another layer of services to make your building and selling experience easier. All designs are accompanied with a color rendering, flyer design (if needed), marketing floor plans and even a website if needed. All plans are created using the latest addition of AutoCAD and SketchUp.
